This session is comprised of didactic lectures, expert panels, and discussion encouraging
audience participation. The latest issues and developments in vascular disease diagnosis
and treatment will be presented. All Allied Vascular Professionals should consider
attending.

Modern Management of Critical Limb Ischemia
The Greatest Challenge
This mini-symposium
will review current and emerging data regarding the state of the art management
of patients with critical limb ischemia (CLI). Controversies in the management of
these patients will be discussed by a renowned international faculty in a clinical
vignette-based format. Novel and advanced endovascular techniques, emerging innovative
technologies, and novel access approaches to facilitate the management of this challenging
patient population will be explored.
Fellows Endovascular Case Competition
VIVA™ 2009 is proud to announce its 1st Fellows Endovascular Case Competition. VIVA™ has a long history of
supporting and fostering fellow’s education and now seeks to take it to another level. As in years past, VIVA™
will again provide free tuition for any fellow interested in attending the meeting. This year, however, it comes
with a catch! Fellows attending the meeting will be required to submit an interesting vascular case for
presentation.
