About VIVA
About VIVA
Educational Objective
VIVA™ enters its sixth year as the leading multispecialty, collaborative education symposium with a focus solely on peripheral vascular diseases.
Our goals remain as focused as when we first dreamed of this idea: to teach those interested in providing the highest level of patient care via an unbiased, comprehensive educational forum covering all aspects of vascular medicine and intervention. At the conclusion of the course, physicians should be able to:
- Discuss diagnostic and treatment options for carotid artery, aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial, renal, and venous diseases
- Describe the nuances of vascular anatomy as they relate to case selection, noninvasive and invasive imaging, disease states, and access site selection
- Compare current and future medical, surgical, and endovascular treatment options for vascular disease
- Review identification and management strategies for complications following endovascular revascularization
- Analyze areas in need of clinical and translational research to advance the care of complex patients with vascular disease.
